Acclaimed for his tireless and unwavering attention to every detail of phrasing (Calgary Herald) and hailed as a "true musician" by conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Canadian violinist Emmanuel Vukovich is emerging internationally as an artist of virtuosity, musical integrity, and artistic maturity.

Dr. Vukovich began undergraduate studies with Dorothy Delay at the Juilliard School and completed his studies with Denise Lupien and André Roy at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University, where he also studied with Peter Brown, founder of McGill University's School of Environment. In 2008, he performed a series of solo violin concerts at Ferme Cadet Roussel. The concerts were filmed and the subject of the documentary  Bach in the Barn / Bach à la ferme. It was during this time that Vukovich also founded The Parcival Project, a Canadian registered charity which receives support from the Canada Council for the Arts.

Santiago Garcia-Cuevas
Sound Recording

The development of techniques for capturing, mixing, and reproducing immersive music remains an evolving field, with no established consensus on the techniques for achieving authentic recorded reproduction. Santiago Garcia-Cuevas has been exploring hybrid immersive recording systems combining high-order ambisonics with channel-based captures which will be used to create a realistic and engaging auditory experience. Comparisons between the live performance and the recording made using traditional channel-based systems and hybrid systems will be made with the goal to determine whether hybrid systems more closely replicate the emotional and perceptual experience of a live concert compared to single-systems.
